I was gathering some hellebore in the front yard, and some passing neighbors complimented the riot of color in the garden right now, and then asked if I’d picked the house colors.
Yes, yes I did. And very deliberately chose the redbud tree to go in front of it. 🙂
Next week, filling those hanging baskets. I almost did it this week, but realized I wouldn’t be around to water, and I haven’t set up the watering yet, and it was a little mean to ask Kevin to cope with it when it’s not even set up yet. That’s okay — I think there are enough flowers, really.
