Slow start this morning — I got up at 7:30 and sent a note to my writing partner that I was up….but then didn’t actually start writing. Instead, I have had tea and toast, reminded Anand to put away the dishes on the counter and take out the trash, had him start the dishwasher running (because I forgot to last night, sigh)…
…chatted with Roshani while folding and putting away four loads of weekend laundry (mostly sheets and towels, I don’t go through clothes THAT fast), unmolded a candle and poured another one, and sent a few e-mails. Which is all fine for 2.5 hrs, but none of which is writing.
Writing next; I don’t have to leave for campus for another hour, so I should be able to squeeze in 30 minutes at least before I have to get dressed. But here are some of the pretties from last night. New lotus-scented lotus ball candle and lotus tea light holders cast in resin. Will be bringing these down to the shop tomorrow (Tuesday); I’m working a 3-8 shift, and will be teaching a flower preserving workshop during it, from 4-5 and again from 6-7. There will probably be treats. 🙂
