Little triumph. Many many months ago, Carollina Song passed along her Silhouette Cameo, and I was theoretically excited about using it to cut all kinds of things, but in practice, I was sort of intimidated by the machine.
But I FINALLY (with Kevin for moral support, mostly, and a bit of tech help) got it set up today, with only moderate anxiety and frustration, downloaded a test image, and had the machine cut it out on regular paper.
The first time, I didn’t load the cutting mat correctly, which led to some unfortunate results, but the second time worked just fine. Cool. I’m honestly not sure what I’m going to do with it now, but surely there’ll be something. Shop decor, if nothing else. 🙂
