Added some candles to my shop yesterday (first pic), but I wanted to focus this post on my booth neighbor, Nusku Decor.
If you’re looking for a classy candle for a gift or for yourself, hers are perfect. The candle pots are handmade by artisans in Mexico, and she blends subtle, gorgeous scents; I’ve smelled them all, and my favorite is cactus flower, which I gifted to my very discerning sister for Christmas.
I also find charming that the booth hosts a few lovely botanical paintings by her dad. 🙂
Check out Nusku Decor at Berwyn Sprout, 7129 Cermak Road, next to Tony’s, so you can get your groceries in the same trip and stock up before it gets too cold. I plan to next few chilly days cooking, eating, and basking in the light of many candles.
My husband claims that candles don’t actually make the room warmer, but I think he is just wrong.
I read an article that talked about how Norwegians light way more candles than Americans, and maybe it’s more about lifting the spirits than actual warmth, but I figure they know how to get through a long, cold winter….
