Some cute indie-made gifts for my sister

I’m going to spoil the surprise a little bit, I suspect, because I shipped these yesterday and they may not have arrived to the recipient. But I wanted to showcase some of the cute indie-made things I’ve been selecting for gifts this holiday, while people still had time to shop! This set is going off to my youngest sister, and it has:

  • a hand-crocheted Peruvian wool headband from Karla Crochets (from Sprout)
  • a beautiful scented candle, with the holder made by an artisan in Mexico, and the candle made by a crafter at Sprout (Nusku, the booth right next to mine)
  • an adorable little set of matches to go with the candle, from Dive Bar Soap Company (also at Sprout, AND Laurette delivers for free locally!)
  • a trinket tray from a potter who had work at the holiday market at Stern Glass Works (Maia Stern, can you remind me of her name / business? I didn’t write it down!
  • a gorgeous cookie from Tanesha Renee, TeeTee’s Sweets — I don’t know if she has any more available, but you could ask her, because they are SO PRETTY.

More posts to come along these lines. 🙂
