Recycled Sari-Silk Pennant Bunting

A little more decor for Kavi’s sari day party — recycled sari-silk pennant bunting, which I’m planning to hang on the fence in my back garden this summer. From Etsy, link in comments — I could’ve made these myself, but for $17 per bunting strand, I was very happy to have someone else do it.

And we wired some craft store flowers onto some green ivy garlands that Roshani loaned me, and just draped them over the tables — easy and charming, I think! We were going for a casual mix of South Asian and fun floral design, and I think it worked!

Thanks to whomever hung the bunting! And to whichever of Kavi’s friends it was who draped the tables for me. I was totally losing track of things at that point in the proceedings. 🙂
