Little task for yesterday — try planting ranunculus bulbs. I usually buy ranunculus in the spring for my planters, and I’m not sure it really makes sense to plant bulbs this late; ranunculus fades in the heat, so it’s really only good for the cool season.
But it’s SO much cheaper, I thought it was worth giving it a try. I’m a little unclear on whether I can save the bulbs and re-use them next year? Something else to figure out…
Instructions say to soak for an hour before planting, so that’s what’s happening here. I then just pushed them into my planters — we’ll see what happens.
