A South American amaryllis, of the variety Cybister, Chico has a rather different form than the classic amaryllis we see in grocery stores at Christmastime. It’s almost spider-y! This one has rebloomed for me, hoorah, although for a while, the stalk just kept growing and growing and growing, and I wasn’t sure it was ever going to form buds. But eventually, yes.
