Weekday alteration project #6: Hemming pants. There is nothing exciting about these, but when you’re 5’0″, learning how to hem pants is kind of a necessity. On the plus side, this fabric was easy to just fold up and sew down directly, which makes a slightly thick hem, but totally fine for casual wear in my book, especially since it meant that I could skip any cutting or pinning or pre-ironing. (I did iron the finished result.)
5-7 minutes each, including time to change thread and bobbins.
