I ended up baking last night, just because Kavi and Kevin and I were watching GBBO, and I was overwhelmed with the need to make cake. Now I have redbud syrup-soaked cakes.
They still need their lemon drizzle icing, but after that, I guess we’ll eat one, and maybe I’ll have the others for sale at the faire tomorrow? Random cakes. What would you do with random cakes? (I also made another batch of passionfruit marshmallows. Those are definitely for sale tomorrow, though. )
