I should be getting all the adulting cookies. Because I:
• did a last e-mail check before bed,
• was informed that the latest Martha Wells Murderbot book that I’d pre-ordered just dropped (Fugitive Telemetry)
• checked to confirm that yes, it was in my Kindle, waiting for me, taunting me
• thought about the fact that I didn’t get enough sleep last night and I have a very long work day tomorrow (school board orientation meeting AND final library board meeting in the evening)
• and I did NOT immediately open the book and start reading anyway.
It can wait until morning. After I get eight hours of badly needed sleep.
