Scilla — I didn’t plant these, and I won’t add more, as if they make it to woodlands, they can displace native plants.
But these were here before we moved in, and they seem pretty well-behaved in my garden, so I haven’t taken them out. If my house bordered the woods, I would remove them. Eventually, I might try to replace them with native bulbs, but that’s unfortunately a slow, expensive process.
I do love how they make a little carpet of blue in early spring.
