I bought myself 5 yards of my Starry Woods print for Christmas, and I love it and can’t quite believe I actually drew this, but now I’m not quite sure what to do with it. I mean, 5 yards is enough for a sari, and it would be sort of amusing to wear this as a sari, but I don’t think that’s really what I’d want.
I got it in a jersey — what do you like in jerseys? (What I’d really love to do is have this in a wool, but I’m not sure it’s even possible to print on wool? Does anyone do that?)
I have a few easy-wear jersey dresses, but that’s a lot of sewing and I’m not so skilled at dress-making. I was thinking maybe a stole-style wrap, which just requires cutting out a big rectangle and hemming it? Nice to wear over a simple grey or silver dress for Christmas parties next year, when we can have parties again…
And then I’d have enough left over for a few scarves too? Thoughts?
