Walked my bike to the bike store, waited in a socially-distanced line for at least 45 minutes (good thing I had a podcast and headphones), got air in the tires and the chain put back on, biked three blocks home. It’s been out of commission for a year or so, excited to be back on. Today was perfect weather for biking, and the streets are much emptier than usual these days. Felt like flying.
The bike is a big pain to get in and out of the garage, though. If I leave it in the backyard, it’s likely to be stolen, so I need a way to lock it up. We have a wooden fence there, and also a patch of ground — is there a good way to attach a rack or something that I can lock it to?
