Tulip “Angelique” is one of my favorites; I try to replenish it every few years, so I have some blooming every year. (Tulips are marginally hardy in our zone, so tend to reduce over time.) Because they bloom right around our May 1 anniversary, and they’re so ridiculously romantic, I’ve come to think of them as our anniversary flowers.
