When I planted the forsythia shrub, someone I was talking to said, “Are you sure? It’s kind of a weedy plant.” And yes, it goes all over the place, and requires some pruning to look its best. But what that really means is that I feel no guilt cutting off lots of branches to make some indoor arrangements. 🙂
I love forsythia, but not sure of the wisdom of planting it in California, where I live. Those are beautiful arrangements.
