Serendib Sprout

Swung by Sprout for another hour, added more of the Shops inventory. Getting there — maybe 80% transferred? Out of town for the next four days, hoping to finish up next week.

You remember that last fall, someone contacted me and said they loved my dahlia coffee table, and could I make something similar as a dining table that seats 12? Well, we had some initial conversations, and have a tentative plan to go ahead with it — I’m meeting with her next Thursday to discuss it

I have this 4×10 booth at Sprout, and we’re not allowed to put anything on the wall aside from our shop sign above 6 feet, but I think the ceiling is at least 9 feet up, which means I have 4×3 feet of completely WASTED space up there that I should be hanging things in,

Connor and I spent three hours adding items from the closed Shops to my booth at Sprout, taking inventory as we went, and we’re still not done. Not sleeping last night definitely hit me hard around 5, and I just gave up, with at least a third left to go. But progress has been made,

My green candle that’s flat, with the folded over leaves? It reminds me so much of Sri Lankan lamprais, a banana leaf packet with rice and curries and pickle inside! I think I have to name it that. Not sure about names for the little leaves (do they look like rose leaves? tomato leaves?), or
