Squash blossoms, I think? As big as my outstretched hand. If I had more energy, I’d stuff some with goat cheese and fry them. Mmmm…..

Native coneflower — I like that little blush of orange, contrasting so nicely with the pink.

Native goldenrod coming into bloom. I didn’t plant this, but am glad it showed up on its own, because even though I’m not normally such a yellow person, this is just a sunny burst of glory, how could you not love it?

Great blue lobelia (native), also finishing up. A few blooms near the top, as pictured, mostly done, further down the stem.

The phlox is finishing up and startling to look rather scraggly, but still bringing some color to the garden. Long-blooming; I’m hoping to add some more phlox next year.
