I wish I kept better notes — I don’t remember which clematis this is, alas. With lilacs behind — there are lilacs on both sides of this path, and when you turn the corner right now, there’s just a little blast of lilac scent. Fun. 🙂

Foxgloves are starting to open, accompanied by two kinds of catmint / nepeta — the one in the back is Walker’s Low, the ones in the front, just added, is Cat’s Pajamas. Which is supposed to be small, but since it’s new this year, I’m not sure if it stays quite this small? We’ll see.
