Sneak peek.

Finished my second weekend in the new store. It’s still not as full as I’d like it to be, and I think there’s still a wall where I want to strip the paper and put up new paper for a more coherent aesthetic, and the store is in dire need of more light, so I’m

Orange pumpkins. But aren’t most pumpkins orange, Mary Anne? Yes, but not as orange as these. 🙂

It feels surreal and sort of awful to go from reading all the hurricane disaster posts to me taking a pretty photo of this evening’s art, but that’s just how life is. All the time, everywhere, there are people living through disasters, while the rest of the people just continue on with their everyday lives.

I can get a little goofy when I’m alone in the shop. I blame the gnome. 🙂

Madly in love with this new pumpkin jar — but I dried these botanicals so many years ago that I don’t remember what they are…alas!

I keep sweeping the floor of the shop, but it’s a very blustery day today, and Nature seems determined to contribute to the autumnal decor….
