Lacecap hydrangea — it’s white now, but this is Quickfire, and very soon it’ll go pinky-red. I’m happy this shrub survived — it was gettng totally shaded out by the growing redbud tree, and had stopped blooming, so a year or two ago, I dug it up and moved it, and I really wasn’t sure

Three natives: wild petunia (ruellia humilis) with morningstar / Gray’s sedge, bee balm / wild bergamot / monarda fistulosa. Purples!
I’m so confused by this lily — I really don’t think I would have planted it here in the parkway. But oh well — it’s glorious and seems happy; it can stay for now. Maybe I’ll remember to move it once it’s done blooming… (With achillea / yarrow.)

Annabelle hydrangea with dwarf peach. I’m still not sure about that dwarf peach — it’s much darker than anything else in my garden. Kind of looks a little odd. But I could take it out, OR I could add more dark foliage to balance. Hmm…
