I think I haven’t mentioned this? I’m thoroughly delighted to note that “Among the Marithei,” first printed in Asimov’s Science Fiction Magazine and then reprinted in Lightspeed Magazine, has been selected for The Best Science Fiction of the Year: volume 7, edited by Neil Clarke.
The book is available in paperback and hardcover now, and should be available in e-book format in November.

This is part of my Jump Space universe — the stories currently published in that universe are listed here, and you can read many of them for free. https://maryannemohanraj.com/science-fiction-fantasy/
Content note: I don’t usually do these for my stories, but given the current tragic situation in Palestine and Israel, I would like to note that some of the themes of this story (written years ago) relate to religious conflict and violence.
