I walked up the road from my parents’ house to the Shuttle Meadow reservoir. Bittersweet, a type of aster, I think blue felicia / blue daisy bush (felicia amelloides), solidago / goldenrod.
I stayed on the main road (which involves keeping a close eye out for cars that come around the turns pretty fast), but if you’re hiking in the area, there’s a trail, linked below, to the Wassel reservoir. I haven’t walked it yet, but I’d like to.
In theory, this is private property, belonging to the water department, but you can walk it along the caretaker road. Just don’t disturb the plants or the water!
