While I was working on my tree and dragon drawing last night, Kavi was working on a watercolor for her homework (her teacher allows drawn responses for her English journal, which I love). She’s reading There Are No Children Here.
We had Gilmore Girls on in the background and made art together from about 9:30 to 11:00 and we were both up a little too late, but also, I loved it, and she did too.
(Side note: Kavi was very pleased that she could use my label maker to neatly label her work, after I found a plastic sleeve to protect her art, and 3-hole punched the sleeve for her binder. Basement supplies organization proving its worth!)
