What I had on hand for Father’s Day gifts

I wasn’t sure what I had on hand for Father’s Day gifts, so I wandered around the store a bit, and there’s actually quite a lot! Here are some fun options:

Dive Bar Soap Company has all kinds of cool soaps, solid shampoos and conditioners, etc. and so on…

– I’ve just started making fun guitar picks! (If you want a specific color, I might be able to do that if you stop by (takes about 15 minutes)

– there’s a few fidget spinners left; I’m going to make some more today, so ditto re: requests for specific colors…

– on the gaming front, we have Oak Park Bingo: The Game! (by local mom Brie Maldonado), along with a host of cool and unusual board games (that I play and can make recommendations for) — we also have Brie’s Oak Park Bingo tea towels and tote bags, maybe a nice gift for a celebrating your life together in Oak Park?

– for a splurge gift, there’s also a few handmade chess boards

– if Dad’s into books and writing, we have books by local authors (including very popular dad gifts _Astounding_ and _Inventor of the Future_, two biographies of SF writers and Buckminster Fuller, by local dad Alec Nevala-Lee) and writing / book-related games and writing prompts

– for the food & drink dads, we have Sri Lankan cookbooks (Sri Lankan cuisine is sort of a cross between Indian and Thai), along with unique botanical shot glasses and wine bottle stoppers (hand wash only for resin, please)

– we have a few dragon and book candles left (both unscented and “Rainy Days and Old Books” scent)

– we have one (!) charcoal-tea tree goat’s milk dragon facial soap left (I might try to make a few more tonight, if I have time, but no promises)

– for an affordable little gift, we have alphabet and dragon keychains — and if you have fifteen minutes and it’s not too busy in the shop, I’m happy to help you (and/or your kids) design a keychain yourself — we have dried flowers and lots of glitter to play with

– and last but definitely not least, we have some amazing night sky photography by local mom Stephanie Bailey.
