Today! What’s Blooming on Harrison — a fabulous art festival, our biggest of the year. There’ll be artist booths for several blocks from 11-7, a kids’ carnival, and from 11-9, food and drink vendors and live music.
Some fun specials for today:
— we’re sharing space with the Tomato Lady, so if you haven’t got your veggie seedlings yet, Lissa Dysart has lots of interesting varieties on offer! Come early for best selection!
— all day (or as long as supplies last), stop in for cookies, a break from the heat, and a kids’ coloring table — there are also some picture books, if you’d like to sit on the couch and take a break) If you’d like to make yourself a cup of tea, go for it — there’s a tea kitty if you want to chip in a dollar, but no requirement!
— you get a free book of pretty matches with every purchase (normally $4), as long as supplies last
— from 5-7 p.m., we’re hosting a wine & cheese with some of our featured artists — stop by, grab a glass and some nibbles, meet an artist!
