I got some bad news that put me in a terrible mood that I was having a hard time shaking, so I declared it date night, rented Project Hail Mary on Amazon for $20, and made Kevin come to bed early to watch it with me. It was very silly and also touching, and I laughed a bunch.
(Has a sort of Guardians of the Galaxy vibe.)
Recommended, especially if you like geeky science types (a weakness of mine, I admit), and first contact stories.
