Funny talking to them about parenting; they’re a few years behind us, still in the throes of shuttling middle schoolers around to activities.
I managed to avoid most of that driving (which I hate) by choosing to live in a very walkable town AND having kids who weren’t sporty or theatrical or musical. 🙂
(Kavi did do activities, but they were mostly at the school and she could walk herself home. Med club, student council, bio research club. She’s currently thinking maybe aim for child psychiatrist, but that could change next week…
Anand just wants to come home and play video games so far, but he’s a junior next year so we’re going to try to talk him into doing SOMETHING he can put on a college application. Hopefully something I don’t have to drive him to!)
