Camassia time — after most tulips, with tree peonies and columbine, before peonies. I think the lavender may be a cultivar, but C. scilloides is native in my region, I think, and is a lovely pale blue.
Edible — the bulbs were a food source for Native Americans and early settlers. Sun to part-shade.
