I meant to post this a few days ago, but time got away from me, alas — Happy Apple Pie Shop, LLC was doing cool veggie pasties for Earth Day — they included a French sheep cheese, cheddar, all kinds of root vegetables, fresh herbs, a little date syrup — if you think Michelle Mascaro should bring them back, go in and talk to her. 🙂
I ended up getting half a chicken pot pie and half a classic apple pie, and they were both just great (as always). I thought I’d have some leftover for the next day, but between me, the husband, and the 16-year-old boy, it was all happily devoured.
