We also critiqued.

I swear, we weren’t eating ALL the time. We also critiqued. Please note that workshop participant is holding the comfort stuffie — the comfort stuffie is optional, but there for you if you need it! This is one of Anand’s, kindly loaned to the cause, a very soft and fuzzy blue monster.

We’re looking at a screen at that moment because one participant didn’t realize this was an in-person workshop, and had registered from England (if I’m remembering right). We offered to reimburse him, of course, but we also were willing to try a hybrid option with him Zooming in.

It was honestly not ideal, having mostly in-person and one virtual participant, and I don’t think we’ll be doing that again — if we decide to do virtual, it’ll be all virtual, like the Clarion class Benjamin and I co-taught.

But this year’s workshop is strictly in-person.

(Note retreat participant quietly working in background. It’s funny, I thought the retreat folks would make use of my office, shed, library, porch, etc. for privacy, but they mostly chose to be on the first floor with us, in adjoining rooms. Also fine!)

Application deadline for this year’s workshop is today!
