Species tulips are much more hardy here than regular tulips, who tend to reduce year after year and eventually stop coming back (especially the fancier varieties).
These were planted a few years ago, and they didn’t just come back — they’re starting to multiply. Next year, I’ll probably divide them, so I have more clumps.
These are both ‘clusiana’ tulips — the pink one is Lady Jane, and the yellow is Tinka.
