Kevin had a really tough week dealing with very complicated taxes (from his parents’ estate), and finally got them done, so I thought he deserved a treat — I stopped in at Cirooakpark and bought a nice spread of fabulous authentic Italian food.
Ciro himself (the owner and chef), recommended the just-baked focaccia with the soft cheese and homemade pesto, and OH MY GOD, it is delicious.
Kevin is a big arugula fan, so I knew he’d love the arugula salad (I had a bit, and it’s good, but arugula is a little bitter for me), and our son devoured the fancy pasta with meatballs.
I had some of everything, and I admit, I had planned to leave half the tiramisu for Kevin, but I might’ve only left him a quarter — oops. 🙂 I guess it was a treat for me too!
