Kavi needed a black interview suit, so I made an appointment with the free personal shopper service at Nordstrom in Oakbrook. Mikayla was a gem and helped us find a top and slacks in 20 minutes, and then when Nordstrom didn’t have a blazer in the style Kavi wanted, directed us to Aritzia, where they had a plethora of options (all a little pricey), and we found something she loved in 20 minutes. Now lunch, then shoes.
We mostly don’t buy her clothes anymore, but first interview suit feels like an appropriate parent gift.
