Opening session at last year’s SF/F writing workshop — I think this is when we were laying out ground rules, expectations, that kind of thing. A workshop can go really wrong if it’s not handled well — I’ve been in a few disasters in my early writing days.
Ben and I work pretty hard to make a safe, productive space for all the attendees — I think it went well last year. We’ll see if we manage it again this year! It helped that all the participants were just great people to work with. 🙂 (Link to application below.)
