Request for business advice — we’ve scheduled the Grand Opening of my studio store for Saturday, February 28th. I’m pretty familiar with everything you do for a book launch, but I don’t know what you do for a grand opening.
I’m going to have a planning meeting with my team this afternoon — what should we set ourselves to doing in the next month (primarily for publicity)? Are newspaper ads worthwhile? Is trying to get on radio a thing? Do I send out press releases? Etc. and so on…???
(FYI, we’re in soft open phase right now, so I’m there Fri / Sat / Sun 12-4, if anyone wants to come check out the space and/or shop!)
