Quick note for those starting Starfleet Academy without having watched Discovery (which ends just before SA) — the first episode of season 3 (That Hope is You, Part 1) will give you most of the plot you’d need on the Burn, if you just want a catch up.
And the end of that episode holds one of my very favorite Star Trek scenes in the whole franchise. It makes me tear up every time.
