Okay, I don’t know why I thought I could start vacation yesterday. But I did only work about 8 hrs, which is a distinct improvement over most days in the last month, and today I only worked about 5 hours, so go me. Maybe I won’t work tomorrow at all? We’ll see.
But the presents are wrapped, we have a plan for Christmas Eve dinner — we’re celebrating tomorrow, because on Christmas Day, Kavi and I are going to Connecticut to visit my family. Kevin and Anand have opted to stay here; I’m predicting three days of video games. We’ll be back on the 28th.
I’ll need to get groceries in the morning, but otherwise, pretty ready to chill. So maybe my week of vacation actually starts tomorrow …or maybe tonight?
