Clothing swap in full swing. Thanks again to Seka Palikuca and Emma KD for hosting today, so I can have this going at the storefront while I’m at work at the Berwyn Shops. I’m a little mopey to be missing most of it — I actually really love watching people find treasures. 🙂
There was one woman at the last one who came up to me afterwards and confided that she’d just gotten her first professional job, and she couldn’t afford to buy clothes for it yet, and I was SO GLAD that her arms were full of nice outfits. That alone made it worth doing the whole thing.
Well, I’ll be there 4:30 – 6 today, anyway, and 4:30 – 6 tomorrow, so I’ll catch some of it. And my wrists and elbow (which are healing slowly, I swear, as long as I don’t try to DO anything with them) will appreciate me not spending hours taking clothes out of bags and hanging them up…
