Met with a painter today at the new storefront, and he didn’t think I was totally loopy for wanting to paint the ceiling dark blue, so here we go. The ceiling has a lot of pipes and ducts (mostly silver-toned, some copper), so it’s going to be fairly DRAMATIC.
I’ve spent a while waffling over shades, and while I do like the color I used for the Berwyn Shops ceiling, I decided to go back to the color I used on the writing shed — Benjamin Moore’s Downpour Blue.
Hopefully I won’t make my store look like a cave! If it does, I may have to just cover the whole ceiling with fairy lights…

Also, painting ceilings that are covered in pipes is very not cheap. Eep eep.
