Hey, locals — looking for space for a small community event?.
So, I’m going to get the keys to my new storefront at the start of November, but I’ll still be at the Shops through December, so I won’t be moving most of my stuff in there. Lissa Dysart will be hosting a pop-up in December, but in November, the main room will be empty.
I’d be very happy to have it used for non-profit community events — I’ll have two six-foot tables and one 4-foot table stored in the space, along with two small round tables, and about six folding chairs. Anything else you need, you’d have to bring. The space has several steps down from the entrance, so it’s not fully accessible, but it does have an accessible restroom.
If you’re interested in booking some time, free of charge, please comment below, and I’ll follow up with you. (Don’t DM please — I start drowning in DMs, and I can’t keep track of them.)
If you can describe the event you’d like to host, that would help, and what group it’d benefit! Thanks!
It’s in the Arts District, 301 Harrison (Harrison & Highland, two blocks east of Ridgeland).
