Reminder that the women’s clothing swap is coming up! I’ve started hanging up some of the early donations, and there are some real treasures in here — gorgeous tops from Anthropologie, cute tailored blouses, a comfy summer / autumn dress (with pockets!), a very sleek Karl Lagerfield dress, a Banana Republic late summer woven cream top, a cashmere sweater (too small for me, alas!), dozens of lovely scarves, a luscious H&M jacket, cute winter hats and coats, and more!
To answer a few questions I’ve gotten:
- will we have plus size? Yes, we have some donated already, but we’re always in need of more plus size items, so if you have some you’d like to winnow, we’d love to have them!
- my daughter wears women’s sizes, can I bring her? Yes, of course!
- so you bring one item (or $5 donation), but you can take away more? Yes — one item for entry, take as much as you like!
If you’re winnowing, don’t forget to consider costume jewelry, shoes, and bags!
And I’d still love to have another volunteer or two to help with sorting and putting things out — that could be Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, or Sunday morning. If that’s you, let me know!
