I like this combo — a medium-height amsonia / bluestar (native) playing against the soft (pet me!) “Silver Mound” artemisia (that leads up the parkway path to the little fairy garden area for the little neighbor kids).
I’m trying to incorporate more natives in my garden design, in a way that plays well, design-wise, with the non-native plants. An interesting challenge!
