I am planning to SLOW THINGS DOWN

Came home from Berwyn Shops, had my last Zoom meeting with an independent study student for the semester at 6:30 p.m., only time we could make it work, and now I’m done with teaching — faculty activity report to get in this weekend (late, but just under the wire), some finals to grade next week, and then I may not think about academia for a while.

Going to eat some leftovers now, then go to the grocery store to get supplies for tomorrow’s launch party. And then I’m going to sleep the sleep of the dead.

If people think this kind of crazy schedule doesn’t exhaust me, they would be wrong. At almost-54, I usually pace myself better, but this week is just a conjunction of many things. I am planning to SLOW THINGS DOWN mightily starting next week.

But here’s one more nice thing — I sold the gerbera daisy table today, to a very nice TV broadcaster lady. 🙂 It’s a Mother’s Day present for her mother — hope she loves it.
