Okay, I’m NOT rebranding as a flower farmer. But I did take an hour to pick and arrange some flowers from the garden for the soft opening yesterday.
Didn’t sell any, didn’t really expect to (the soft launch was just 25 people or so, donors and organizers of the Shops), but it was an interesting experiment, and I think I’ll try it again at the grand opening next weekend. If people actually buy some arrangements, I’ll keep it up, as the garden and my time allow.
I do enjoy cutting and arranging flowers, and I like showing off my more unusual varieties that people wouldn’t find at the grocery store. 🙂 Might need to find a source for cheap vases, though — I just used my random leftover jars yesterday, but I don’t actually have so many of those…
Currently thinking $15 each arrangement? Seem reasonable?
