My essay on Ursula K. Le Guin, “Write, Critique, Revise, Repeat” will be reprinted in a new collection

Delighted to note that my essay on Ursula K. Le Guin, “Write, Critique, Revise, Repeat” will be reprinted in a new collection of work by Ursula, coming out from Winter Texts, in partnership with the Ursula K. Le Guin Literary Trust, to be released at the opening of an exhibition about her this November at Oregon Contemporary.

The book is titled “A Larger Reality” and it’ll be a (carefully abridged) journey through a few major themes of her thinking: Place, Culture(s), Life of the Mind, Freedom, Love, and Self/other. In addition to her poems, stories, and non-fiction they’re weaving in a few essays by others that reflect on Ursula’s philosophies and craft.

You don’t actually have to wait for the book to read my essay, since it’s available online, but the book looks like it’ll be very interesting, and I’m looking forward to it! I’m hoping it’ll be a good teaching volume
