Tried something new — got a request for a bulk order of handmade low cost items for a group of kids’ Easter baskets. So, resin dragon keychains, $5 each.
A bit of an experiment — I’m going to send these along ungilded, because I’m not happy with how the gilding looks — it makes the dragon pop, but it’s also streaky, which bugs me. Not sure what a better method would be — maybe brushing mica powder in the mold first, but I think it’d be tricky to get just the raised portion. Hm.
There’ll be some extra from this batch, so I’ll likely take them down to Berwyn Sprout later in the week.
