Mixed daffodils (from White Flower Farm’s “The Works” mix — lots more varieties to come), plus species ‘petticoat hoop’ daffodil “Arctic Bells,’ and species tulip clusiana “Lady Jane.”
Plant all as bulbs in the fall — daffodils in our zone will spread over time, and are deer-resistant and squirrel-resistant. You can dig a trench, toss them in, cover it up, and enjoy the glory of them for decades to come. Before too long, you’ll have enough that you might want to give some away to a friend or neighbor!
I’ve often thought that it would be a lovely gift for new homeowners, to give them a bag of daffodil bulbs. 🙂 Swati Saxena, maybe something for your realtor clients…
