Blooming this week — pansies just planted, lots of early spring bulbs (last of the snowdrops, scilla, chionodoxa / glory-of-the-snow, species crocuses, puschkinia), lots of hellebores, the first few daffodils, species daffodil “Arctic Bells,’ species tulip clusiana “Lady Jane,” forsythia shrub.
Please ask if you want the names of anything in a photo (though I didn’t actually track the names of all the different hellebores, sorry!)
This is one of the best weeks in my garden — early spring is my favorite time. I’m at 332 Wisconsin Ave. (Marion turns into Wisconsin as you go south), near the YMCA, if you want to come by and take a look. Feel free to wander in the front garden. The blue and purple house, with the little free library in front.
