Garden log 2/27/25. It’ll be months until I remove leaf litter from most of my garden (got to let those pollinators wake up first), but I do find my hellebores, rake back any covering leaves, and trim the old leaves that survived the winter.
It’s my first chore of spring, and one of my favorite garden chores — it’s just so satisfying, after a long Chicago winter, to see the new hellebore leaves and buds emerging.
